This Privacy Statement is based on Article 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation and contains the rights and obligations of the Kalpanarts Foundation with regard to external persons whose personal data it processes, mainly in the context of online sales and marketing of theater performances. The responsible for the processing of your personal data is Stichting Kalpanarts.

Personal data that you provide to us:

Your IP address, anonymised with the last four digits.
— Category 2:
When registering for our newsletter: your-mail address.
— Category 3:
When purchasing a card via our website: your name, email address, telephone number and transaction details.

Purposes of the processing


3.1.
General Purposes: The Kalpanarts Foundation uses collected personal data exclusively for the following purposes:
— Category 1:
Taking care of and improving the website and including personal data in anonymous statistics, from which the identity of specific persons or companies cannot be traced, with the legitimate interests of the Kalpanarts Foundation to continuously improve its website and services as legal basis.
— Category 2:
Sending you direct marketing, newsletters, promotions and promotions, with your explicit prior consent as the legal basis;
— Category 3:
The digital delivery and invoicing of tickets ordered by you, and necessary communication regarding your purchase, with the legal basis being the provision of a service that was requested by you. Duration of processing


The personal data is stored and processed by us for a period that is necessary in function of the purposes of the processing and in function of the contractual relationship between the Kalpanarts Foundation and you. Below you will find the retention period of the data per category.
— Category 1: These data are stored anonymously and therefore have no expiry date.
— Category 2: The data will be kept until you unsubscribe from the newsletter.
— Category 3: Your data will be deleted immediately after the purchase has been completed after the presentation date, unless you have created an account in our checkout system. Your data will then be saved so that your next purchase is easier and you can view your visit history. Inactive accounts are deleted after 3 years, the transaction data is then anonymized.

Your rights

Right of access and inspection: You have the right to receive free access to your personal data at any time, and to the use that we make of your personal data.

Right of correction, deletion and limitation: You are free to decide whether or not to communicate your personal data to the Kalpanarts Foundation. Security and confidentiality

Under no circumstances can the Kalpanarts Foundation be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from incorrect or unlawful use by a third party of the personal data.

Access by third parties


7.1.
In order to be able to process your personal data, we grant our employees access to your personal data. Only employees for whom inspection is necessary for the performance of their position within the Kalpanarts Foundation can view your data.

We share your data with a number of processors, these are other organizations that work for us. For example, they offer us software with which we store, secure, analyze your data and help us to provide you with the services you request from us, such as buying tickets.

Our processors and sub-processors are the following:
– Stager: Our cash register system: if you make a purchase from us, your data will be stored in this system. (Category 3).
– Mailchimp for storing personal data and sending newsletters, press releases and invitations. (Category 2, 3).
– Google Analytics: For insight into website visits. (Category 1).

7.4.
Through contractual obligations with our employees and internal policy, we guarantee a safe handling of your personal data by our employees, in accordance with the privacy legislation and this statement.
